Weekend

Had a quite but lovely weekend consisting of watching High School Musical, Cooking, and yesterday I decided I needed to do something a little crafty. I had a fight with a bout five big bumblebees (don’t worry, they remained unharmed, but the did freak me out slightly) and attacked my lavender bushes. I now have a plethora of lovely purple buds to play with, so am currently making beaded lavender bags. I have grand plans of making some lavender wreaths, but the bees need to leave me alone first J

My Emma Jelly found me such a cool site that has me excited about making some dollies!! Heres the link - http://zosomoto.tripod.com/.... I’m not sure wether to thank her or not as I feel a new obsession coming my way J

Am excited work wise for two reasons – Australia Day means Monday off – yay! And the week after I have some amazing Training planned with Michael White, the Guru of Narrative Therapy in Australia…. what bliss…

New year, New Chapter

Oh gosh - it seems like i have slipped again - Blogging isn't like a real diary though, cos now all my entries have gone into the ether - oh well..... I have been looking at some REALLY cool blogs, so now i've been inspired to redo mine. So what have i've been up to lateley - well, there was the fun of christmas. I took a month off work to have a rest, and couldn't wait till i got back to work so I could relax!!! i had guests the ENTIRE time. Also my unlce died. He was not a nice man AT all, and the last time he had seen my mother 10 years ago he held a knife to her throat. He was living in my nan's house, and apon his passing this was passed on to my brothers and I. When we went in for the first time in 10 years, the cleanest thing in that house was the cat litter - there was literally rubbish EVERYWHERE. It is a mammoth effort to clean, because strewn throughout the rubbish are precious memorabillia for my mum... It's truly heartbreaking. The house is a good 40 min drive from home, so each day up there is quite taxing.
On the other hand Christmas itself was great! I had 14 people over for christmas dinner and then a houseful for nibblies and drinks that nigh - and that was the EASY part of my holiday.

Gryphon my beautiful lover spoilt me completely - my favorite thing he got me was a super dooper mixmaster for all my baking goodness :) mostly because he knew i wanted one but it came as a complete surprise :)

My mummy got me so many lovely things... one of my favorites was this book

It is so beautiful - Beatrix Potter was my FAVORITE author when i was little, and I still love the books. Speaking of books, two of my favorite books that i brought over my holidays are

These are two of my favorite books because the photography and style is so cool!!

My other favorite thing was my by beautiful flower who made me foxy :)

Isn't she a cutie :) Flower is getting really good at making them... She sews them all by hand so they take a while :)

Anyway - going to check my Banana cake made with my new mixmaster... bright belssings:)
